Altered Gnome Frame - Whimsie Wednesday Challenge

I am hosting the newest challenge on the Whimsie Doodles blog and this week I have asked our readers to create a Box Office Inspired card/project. You can get all of the details on playing along and the prize HERE - I hope you will join us.

For my sample I altered a square wood frame and used one of the NEW Gnomie images - these are perfect for a project inspired by Gnomeo & Juliet. I started off by digital paper-piecing the Without A Gnome image using one of Echo Park's Hybrid lines. For the main image I printed off 4 copies and cut different areas out of each one to create a 3-D effect.

Just the details… (1) After applying paper to front of frame I went over the edges again with my white paint, (2) Used foam dots between the layers of my main image, (1) Added gems to the sides of bookplate that held the sentiment.
