Tag You're It - Whimsie Wednesday Challenge 65

TAGS SO MUCH for stopping by today!!! For the new Whimsie Wednesday Challenge (WWC65), Melyssa has came up with a 'Tag You're It' theme for our readers and fans. For my 'answer' to the challenge I decided to go with a tag-shaped card base and used the new Penelope digital image.

To create the card base I cut a top-fold card base, that folded to 3.5" x 5.5". Both of the top corners were cut off and the bottom two were rounded. After adhering the patterned paper at the bottom I created my own 'hole protector' using a couple circle punches and kraft cardstock.

The little cutie on the card was colored with COPIC markers, then adhered front and center. For a little accent I tied the brown button onto some green ribbon that was wrapped around the card front. Since the card is a little narrower than normal, it allowed for some overhang.

Make sure to get all of the details on the Tag You're It challenge HERE. If you play along you can WIN a FREE Whimsie Doodles digital image!!

Just the details... (1) Used foam tape to adhere image after hand-cutting it out, (2) adhered top of card together and made a score line about 1" down for a 'hinge', (3) added glitter to sentiment paper on candy, (4) used twine to tie button to ribbon hanging of edge of card.
