Scarecrows, Corn rows... DRS Designs and Stamp Something

DRS Designs is hosting the latest challenge at the Stamp Something blog - Sketch Something Challenge. Using the sketch pictured to the left, and some of DRS Designs NEW Fall Releases, I created the square card shown below.

Instead of using squares of paper or cardstock, as indicated by the sketch, I stamped Large Scarecrow (L426) & Lady Scarecrow (L418) in brown on an off-white cardstock. Both images were partially colored in, then trimmed out close to the stamped lines. The Scarecrows and Corn Rows Greeting (F460) was stamped and matted in burgundy.

The images and sentiment were then placed on the card base that was stamped with the Lines O'Plenty Background (H366) and had a rectangle of burlap on it. Make sure to check out THIS post to find out how you can play along with the challenge and be entered to win a $20 Gift Voucher to DRS Designs!

  1. Terrific card Alicia! A good twist on the sketch too!

  2. Too cute! Love how you placed the scarecrows and the burlap! How fun!
