DRS Designs and Color Throwdown 100

Color Throwdown is celebrating their 100th challenge with a great new color combo and LOTS OF PRIZES! DRS Designs is one of the awesome sponsors, so I am playing along using some of the stamps from their upcoming July 10th release!

Here are the colors that must be used in the challenge card...

Today's card showcases the NEW Otters (G255) stamp as the focal point. I tried to stick closely to the colors provided, but did need to add some brown and gray when coloring in the image. Since the otters are poppin' their heads up out of the water, I thought the Just Poppin' In (D156) sentiment was perfect for the card.

To add some texture to the background I used clear embossing powder on the Large Original Plaid (P641) lines I stamped across the card. The red from the color combo was used as an accent color by placing the scalloped strip across the card and highlighting the two words in the sentiment.

Want to win this prize package?

Make sure to head on over to Kisa's Blog from the Color Throwdown DT.  She's the one giving away this golf prize package from DRS Designs.  All you have to do to win is create a paper crafted project using the challenge colors above and then leave a comment on her blog.

Challenges used for this card:
