Whimsie Doodles 'Good Bye' Blog Hop

Hello hoppers!! Since today is the end of the current design team term, so we are celebrating with a "Good Bye Blog Hop" and special sale!! If you didn't come here from Sheri's Blog, head on over to the Whimsie Doodles post to get all of the details, then enjoy the eye candy on each of the designer's blog.

For today's card I have paired the Whimsie Doodles' Flowers from Leah digital with the latest sketch from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog (SSS62). Aftering coloring Leah to match the floral patterned paper block, I matted both pieces onto a chocolate brown cardstock. The card front was covered with the pink grid paper and that helped a lot when I was placing pieces onto the front.

Since I didn't have any brown brads I used a COPIC marker to color a light orange one from my stash. To give it some 'texture', like the flowers in the image, I dabbed at it with the brush tip after coloring. For dimension I placed the image onto the card front with Dimensionals and used a 3-D Glue Dot for the layered flowers.

Now onto the part you have been waiting for... my secret letter is "B". Head on over to Denise's blog to see her pretty eye candy and continue collecting letters. If you get lost along the way, you can always head back here and follow the hop list below.
