Today, I’m showing you a gift card holder I made using the brand new set called Pick A Pocket Piece! This set comes with a cute pocket stamp, lots of accessories and a couple sentiment 'tags' for the side of the pocket.

(back)
My daughter was wearing a pair of jeans the other day that were way too short, so I immediately thought 'free material'!! I stamped 2 copies of the pocket onto the leg of the jeans and cut them out, leaving a slight border. Next I stamped and cut out the '4YOU' pocket tag and placed that between the two pockets, then used some No-Sew adhesive to adhere it all together.

The decorative strip on the front of the pocket is one of the fun accessory stamps included in the Pick A Pocket Piece stamp set. I placed gems atop some of the circles along the wavy lines to add some 'flair'. This was a quick, easy, way to create a cute gift card holder and there was no sewing involved!!

The next stop on the hop is Marti's blog!

How cute is this! :) It is so funny as crafters we look at things so different from everyone else. We see the potential in the junk of others.
