Special Delivery from Doodle Palace

Because Doodle Palace's You've Got Gmail image is one of their most popular, they decided for this week's release to create a similar image.. The new Special Delivery image has a little baby being delivered by this cute giraffe. The stork must have been on vacation.

The layout for this card came from CPS164; although for my sample I rotated the sketch. I also took on one of the the latest challenges at 365 Cards - Day 57. You were to use the provided ad (see below) as inspiration for your card. The picket fence in the image reminded me of the white crib rails and I paper-pieced the baby bundle, like the blankets hanging over the crib in the ad.

I finished off the card by wrapping some white twine around the bottom of the image mat, adding the layered buttons and sentiment.

To see what the rest of the Doodle Palace Princesses created with this image, make sure to visit this post on the Doodle Palace blog.
